and the winner is...

Last night we had a ward
HALLOWEEN
party which was out at a
member of our bishoprics potato
farming barn and after much
thought and searches on google my roommate
Jenn and I figured out the perfect costume..
can you guess what it might have been?
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Yes you guessed it. We are Idaho potato sacks.
We thought it fit pretty well with the potato
farming season and living in idaho and all.

(fhe family all dressed up)
There was also a costume contest
and people had to vote for best cotume.
and you best believe we won! haha

prize was a silver painted potato
and some candy.
(can you tell we live in idaho? haha)

today I went to check the mail and found
this lovely package from my mother!
Thanks so much!
Packages are the best thing ever!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Truths of Life

A couple nights ago my roommate called us into her room to read us these and we all just sat there laughing because they are all so true. Read them.. you wont regret it.

Truths of Life

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm prettysure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.

15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dang it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and runaway?

16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

19. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it.

20. I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

21. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.

22. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

23. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

24. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

25. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

26. There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far..

27. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

28. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my behind everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, firsttime, every time!

p.s. I'm not a fan of
scary things. Can you tell?
Last night we went to a haunted corn maze
and it was fun but can I just tell you
that guys with creepy masks and chain saws and I
don't get along.

attack
my roommates sister works there and she dresses up
like a ringwraith from lord of the rings.
so scary! you can kind of see her in the
back of this pic.

our pantry currently looks like this
yep there are at least 14 bags in there.
a member of the bishopric is a potato farmer
so he invited us to come out during spud
harvest week and see what it is all about.

those are all potatoes behind us.
they fill huge building with them.
i had never seen so many potatoes in my entire life.

now i have potatoes to last me forever.
i now feel like a true idahoan!

besides that I am busy with school and
having fun with my awesome roommates
and tons of new fun friends.

Happy!

Can I just say that life is GREAT!

A few weeks ago I made the journey from fresno, CA to Rexburg ID which equals approximately 16 hours of driving. As I was preparing to move back to idaho I was sad to be leaving my friends and family in fresno and not looking forward to starting school at all. Honestly at that point I was just wanting to stay in fresno for the summer. but lets be honest I am so glad I didnt. I am so happy I am up here right now. here are some reasons:

* My roommates are AMAZING and make me want to be better!

* School is great! (i just love going to an lds school)

* I am learning to love working out! :)

Life is GRAND!

Fro yo anyone?

I know I am probably the worlds worst blogger but at least I still do it every once in a while right? Right now I am living at home and I have been since middle of december because I am off track at BYU-I. For a while I was just hanging out not doing much because a couple of jobs I was trying to get didnt end up working out. Then out of no where I got a job at this self serve frozen yogurt place and I am loving it.

Workin the cash register.
lots of yummy flavors
i have such a great family that comes and visits me pretty much every time I work. Its fun to work at a place that everyone enjoys coming to. So if you are in Fresno and you every have a craving for frozen yogurt come visit me.. you wont regret it!!!
